Job Description


We are looking for a collaborative Software Engineer to join the Plexus team . You will be responsible for designing, building, maintaining and supporting our next generation platforms. This is a full stack, hands-on role, developing new features for our customers which meet the needs of our business. Our customers rely on our products to connect, communicate and do business across Australia, NZ and Singapore.

What you'll do as a Software Engineer:

  • Solutioning, developing, deploying and supporting our voice and data networking platforms
  • Build with best practices and resiliency in mind while adhering to agile processes
  • Work collaboratively with business and technology stakeholders
  • Experiment with new technologies and ideas! Active learning and being curious is something that we value greatly

Qualifications


What you'll need to succeed:

  • 2-4 years hands-on experience in Software Engineering
  • Knowledge of any major OOP/FP language such as Node, Go, Java, Python or similar
  • Proven work experience and exposure to large scale applications
  • Experience with Cloud-based development and DevOps practices
  • Solid understanding of how to build testable, decoupled, maintainable code and other engineering best practices
  • Experience working on large scale distributed applications (Microservices architecture and design)
  • You're a team player who loves to share knowledge and work in a collaborative environment, with strong interpersonal skills
  • Bonus points for experience in GraphQL, React, Kubernetes, Terraform and Docker
